CARING FOR EACH OTHER … IN YOUR COMMUNITY

We are thrilled to be working with the Ministry of Last Things at the Wellesley Village Church, United Church of Christ, to support their unique workshop to inform their community and extend a hand to each other.

“Caring for Each Other in Life and in Death: Preparing for the unexpected as well as end of life medical issues and decisions”, takes place on  Saturday, October 25, from 8:45 am to 11:30am at the Village Church. Liz Garrigan-Byerl, Associate Pastor, and the Ministry of Last Things team will provide a faith framework in which to “explore some of the most important and relevant decisions involving health care and other end-of-life preparations and personal conversations.”

Working with this most thoughtful team has been quite inspirational. They have put together a friendly community forum for adults of all ages, to exchange ideas and easily access health care planning information.  Honoring Choices will provide a presentation on how to make a plan that is right for each individual, review the 5 planning documents we use in Massachusetts, and talk about ways to start this discussion with family and friends to build a lifelong plan so care choices are well defined and carefully honored.

The Village Church is welcoming all for a meaningful discussion to start to make your own plan, and design your next steps to create resources for this life journey. Read more and register here.
