Arc of Massachusetts becomes an Honoring Choices MA Statewide Cross-Continuum Partner

• We welcome The Arc of Massachusetts as an Honoring Choices MA Statewide Cross-Continuum Partner. The Arc's mission is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism and their families. They fulfill this mission through advocacy for community supports and services that foster social inclusion, self-determination, and equity across all aspects of society. Through legislative advocacy, programs that promote inclusion, and engaging the community, The Arc creates tangible changes in the community and in the lives of people with disabilities. Their programs include:
• Advocacy and Empowerment on state and federal levels for critical policy changes, increased funding for programs;
• Operation House Call, which teaches medical, nursing, and health professional students the essential skills to care for people with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD);
• After I am Gone, a guide to future planning for aging caregivers concerned about future care for their loved one with a disability;
• Education, Training and Webinar series providing state of the art information, resources, current trends and best practice strategies;
